PROPSTER and BIMsystems optimize construction planning processes

The Viennese PropTech start-up PROPSTER and the Stuttgart-based PropTech BIMsystems, which specializes in the model-based planning method Building Information Modeling (BIM), are entering into a cooperation. The aim of the cooperation is to optimize the process of construction planning by already integrating the end customer into the BIM planning via PROPSTER and BIMsystems.

BIM system enables the technical BIM infrastructure

PROPSTER offers property developers, project developers and construction companies the possibility to handle the entire communication and organization process with apartment buyers via its specially developed IT platform. BIMsystems specializes in the implementation of Business Information Modeling and is the world's only provider of a database-based BIM solution - the so-called corma technology. The BIM solution from BIMsystems serves the goal of providing all parties involved in the construction process with the technical BIM infrastructure that enables the networked exchange of data along the value chain of a property.

The now decided cooperation of the two companies leads to a logical extension of the planning methodology for engineers and construction technicians as well as to a better understanding of the construction processes and product conditions for the clients. This will result in faster decision-making and better planning of construction projects between all project participants and the end customers. For the producers of building materials, in turn, the result is that they receive a complete service with regard to the creation, maintenance and management of BIM content and data. The cooperation will optimize the data exchange process in particular. This is an extremely important step towards the digitalization of the construction industry.

The focus is on user friendliness

By combining the solutions of PROPSTER and BIMsystems, a continuous digital process is created. The main advantage of digitizing the project steps lies in the user-friendliness. It should be emphasized that users achieve maximum and constantly expandable output with minimal data effort. "I would even say that through this cooperation we can offer companies for the first time a real and immediately applicable solution that did not exist before. Now there are no more excuses'' explains Milan Zahradnik, founder and CEO of PROPSTER.

Gregor Müller, CEO of BIMsystems adds: "Involving end customers directly in the BIM process is revolutionary. The direct involvement of end customers in BIM planning saves planners money and time that would otherwise have been lost through costly coordination meetings and correction cycles."
