Mein Ziegelhaus adds new products as BIM content on waya
Since recently, the association Mein Ziegelhaus has been offering part of its products as BIM content on waya by BIMsystems. Convinced by the functionality and efficiency of the BIM solution, the building materials manufacturer is now following suit with further products. Planners can thus place the BIM content with all important information directly in the CAD system via the free waya Plugin.

Mein Ziegelhaus recognises the potential of waya
With BIM (Building Information Modeling), construction projects can be digitized right from the start and important information on planning, execution and infrastructure can be mapped in the so-called digital twin. For implementation in practice, BIM-compliant data is required as a source of information, among other things. In order to support planners in digital planning and to further advance the digitization of construction, Mein Ziegelhaus will make further products available as BIM data after a successful test phase.
In the future, an expanded range of bricks from the manufacturer specializing in the building material is available as BIM content via the tool waya by BIMsystems online or via plugin, which can initially be used with Revit or ArchiCAD. The result: lossless networking in BIM planning, consulting directly in the CAD system, digitized project and product data and addressee-appropriate information throughout the planning process.
BIM-enabled configuration directly in the CAD system
In waya the bricks of Mein Ziegelhaus are represented as composite BIM content - this means that the building material is represented in the BIM data model as a surface and is controlled via the drawing tool of the CAD systems. Via the BIMsystems plug-in, the BIM content is individualized according to parameters, logics and rules in line with requirements and inserted into the BIM data model. Planners effectively save time in the search, selection and placement of digitized brick products.
Whether block or plane bricks, whether bricks for exterior walls, interior wall systems or exterior walls with thermal insulation composite system - the planner can arrange the planar BIM content in waya already in such a way that he can apply it in the next step without further manual steps directly with all important information in his preferred CAD system. The planning phase is not interrupted and takes place in a familiar environment - thanks to the bidirectional plugin directly into the CAD system..

Innovation and technical solutions are capitalized at Mein Ziegelhaus! Both in the production of bricks and in the rest of their business. For this reason, they rely on waya by BIMsystems. With it, planners and the other construction stakeholders can search, transform, configure, and place BIM content from Mein Ziegelhaus and collaborate with partners in a central data model. Installation is straightforward: After downloading the free plugin and installing it, users only need to register once for free. Afterwards, waya is ready for operation and can be controlled directly from the CAD system.
